T. Durant Fleming Keynote Speaker for MMOS 9

durant-fleming-memphisAfter completing his undergraduate degree in Communications at the University of Memphis, Durant received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, Illinois. After seminary he continued his studies and received his doctorate from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. In 1988, Durant was ordained into a Reformed Presbyterian denomination and for twenty-five years was a dedicated Presbyterian minister involved in the full range of pastoral duties including preaching, teaching, weddings, funerals, leadership training, and writing materials for the Presbyterian Church. After a ten year intensive study and a pilgrimage to Rome, Durant and his wife, Sharon, joined the Catholic Church. Durant shares his unique journey into Catholicism in his recently completed book entitled, Following the Ancient Paths. Durant is presently the Headmaster of The Collegiate School of Memphis, a heavily-scholarshipped, private school for urban students. He enjoys hunting, fishing, playing the bagpipes, writing, traveling, and spending time with his family. Durant and his wife Sharon have been married for almost thirty years and they are very thankful for their three children, Caroline,
Carson, and Jake.
